Higher education is ever changing with the types of students we serve, especially when they are taking their first professional journeys. Along with these changes, new staff members are beginning their full-time professional careers, which includes the task of being a new supervisor to student employees. To keep up with changes to both processes and the students, it is imperative to have student supervisor trainings to address these needs. This roundtable discussion is designed for any person at any level to talk about supervisor training. The topics that are going to be covered are training mediums, topics, and timelines done for managers and supervisors of student staff. The goal is to expose all participants to new ideas that other institutions are currently doing and/or talking through areas that someone feels need some sort of addressing.
