About me
Alison Noonan, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, serves as the Associate Director for Career Foundations & Partnerships with the University of Florida's Career Connections Center. Alison has spent the last 12 years in higher education, championing student success, career and leadership development, and experiential education. Before her career in higher education, she worked for over 20 years in the hospitality, beauty, and healthcare industries. In her current role, Alison spearheads the Center's early career engagement strategy to connect with first-year, second-year, and transfer students. Alison is a strengths-and values-based educator who believes in building strategic partnerships to infuse career development into areas across the UF campus to support the holistic career development of UF students. Two years ago, Alison's role expanded to supporting K-12 educators and stakeholders to prepare their students to be college- and career-ready. Alison serves as a National Career Development Association (NCDA) instructor and holds the NCDA credential - Certified Career Services Provider, a Master of Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
