About me
Angie's first job in the entertainment field was within the hallowed halls of Walt Disney World's Character Department. After working in themed entertainment for 5 years, she expanded her work to include roles on film and television after moving to Hollywood. She explored the worlds of both the silver and smaller screens coming eventually to a crossroads in her career. Desiring to pursue new life goals she moved back to Orlando and settled into an office job at Full Sail University in 2004. She added radio host to her resume as well during this period while starting as an Assistant Film Advisor. She would go on to become an Advisor for both the Film and Recording Arts Programs. In 2007, Full Sail created the Faculty Recruitment Department with Angie at the helm of that new initiative. After working in Recruitment for 10 years, Angie used her skills and expertise to transition into the world of Healthcare Recruiting at AdventHealth. Initially she was hired to source experienced nurses for the Central Florida market, before being chosen for a newly created role of Community Sourcer, therein seeking candidates to fill Allied Health positions. Company reorganizations led Angie into a Campus Recruiter position recruiting nursing students for the Nurse Residency Program. However, after 16 years working in Talent Acquisition, Angie was ready for a change. Missing the energy of the Entertainment Industry, Angie jumped at the chance to return to Full Sail University. Reversing here previous role as the employer hiring students, she is now the Industry Outreach Representative cultivating relationships on behalf of Full Sail with industry employers hoping to hire our Full Sail Grads.
