About me
Dwayne Peterson is a nationally recognized career educator, strategist, and higher education career services leader with over 15 years of experience facilitating career development for clients and students at all educational levels. A first-generation college graduate, his diverse educational background in the liberal arts, education, and business uniquely positions him as expert in the design and scale of impactful career development practices. Having worked at multiple institutions he has extensive experience leading career center teams. Currently, he serves as the Director of Industry to Campus Connections at the University of South Florida, where he leads a team of employer and industry relations professionals who develop innovate programs and services that increase candidate connection to opportunities and serves as a recruitment consultant to employers and graduate programs schools recruiting USF candidates. Dwayne holds a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Miami University in Ohio and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Florida. He is a certified career development facilitator and an active member of the National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE), the National Career Development Association (NCDA), and the Florida Association of Colleges and Employers (FloridaACE).
