About me
Dona Gaynor is the Director of Career Services at the Florida Institute of Technology and has over 35 years of experience in the career services field. She served as the Job Location & Development Coordinator, Cooperative Education Coordinator and Assistant Director of Career Services prior to becoming Director of the Career Services Office in 1994. She has a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada
Dona has been a member of FloridaACE (formerly FCPA) since 1994 and became active with the association in the early 2000’s serving on various conference committees and chaired the Conference Programs Committee in 2002. In 2004 she was appointed to the Secretary position to fill an opening on the board and was elected as Vice President and Conference Chair for the 2007 Conference held in Daytona Beach. In 2008, she became President and led the organization’s incorporation as a non-profit organization and re-organized the board positions to better reflect changes in the organization’s membership. After serving as Past President for two years she received the Brownlee Leadership Award in 2011. Dona is also a member of the Central Florida Career Consortium, SoACE and NACE.
