About me
Julie Kephart is the Assistant Director of the Office of Academic Advocacy, home to the PeerKnights program, at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. Before transitioning into the Office of Academic Advocacy, Kephart was the Program Coordinator of PeerKnights, a peer-to-peer support service that employs students. Kephart is a member of the National Student Employment Association (NSEA) and presented two concurrent sessions at the 2024 NSEA Conference. She also presents PeerKnights at various local and national conferences. Kephart graduated from the University of Central Florida with her BS in Event Management in 2019. Kephart stayed at UCF to earn her MA in Educational Leadership: Higher Education/Student Personnel in 2021 and is currently a second-year doctoral student in the Educational Leadership: Higher Education EdD program. She has experience supervising student employees and working at Valencia College in Orlando, FL and the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
