About me
Matina Wagner, MA, SHRM-SCP spent a decade working with the military and government, before switching gears and going into the private sector. She served as the Recycling Program Administrator for the Walt Disney World Company. She stayed in this role for seven years before going into consulting and finding her true passion in education. At Polk State College since 2002, she has worked in Advising, Recruiting, Student Services, the Internship & Experiential Learning Coordinator, and is a member of the Business Program Adjunct Faculty. Matina serves on several local boards, enjoys volunteering, and loves going on adventures and traveling with her family. Currently, she serves as the certification director for the MidFlorida SHRM chapter and is the Co-advisor for Polk State College's Student HR Club.
